“When
the Bedfordshire & Luton Education Business Partnership decided to
centralise their Woburn and Luton Office’s at a new premises in
Ampthill it was necessary to address the IT infrastructure.
Prior
to relocating, the IT infrastructure consisted of a peer to peer
network (5 users), standalone PC’s with attached printers and dialup
internet/email. It was
considered that the relocation to new offices was the ideal time to
invest in I.T. so that the business could grow.
It was essential that we contracted an IT company to propose,
oversee and implement a new IT solution within budget. It was also
considered to be beneficial if the whole IT solution could be provided
by one company so we would be dealing with one point of contact for
the whole project and with our minimal experience with I.T. this was
an important consideration.

It
is difficult in any office reorganisation or company relocation to
plan for every I.T. eventuality.
With the help of KSS, however, we were able to relocate office
and implement a new I.T. solution and telephone system at the same
time. KSS managed the project and dealt with the I.T. issues that
arose leaving BLEBP to concentrate on the business and office
relocation during a busy and stressful time.
Since
our office move in 2002 we have continued to use KSS for our network
support and have established a good business relationship. Their response to our requests for support is always friendly
and helpful and they are currently helping us to expand our IT
capacity still further as well as helping us to address the training
needs that will inevitably arise.”
